- Let rise 2 hrs or until doubled
- Filling: saute garlic and onions in oil in a wok
- Add meat and stir fry
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce and brown sugar
- Pour in dissolved cornstarch and cook quickly until meat is well glazed
- Remove from heat and cool
- Make buns: punch down dough and knead on floured board 3-5 mins
- Divide dough and roll ea half into a 12x2" log
- Cut each into 12 pieces, making 24
- Roll each into a ball, then roll flat into 3" circles
- Place 1 slice of egg and 1tsp filling in centre of each
- Gather sides of round, pinch together and twist
- Place pinched side down on parchment in steammer
- Cover with damp cloth and let rise 1 hr
- Steam for 20 mins
